The Congress

Chaos Communication Congress - this year for the thirteenth time. The motto: "The futurological congress - life after the internet depression." From Dec. 27th until Dec. 29th the German Chaos Communication Club invites into the Eidelstedt Bⁿrgerhaus in Hamburg to exchange experiences and share visions.

The Eidelstedt Buergerhaus has been filled with life since christmas eve and several miles of cable have been used to connect the rooms. Within the next few days, experiences and results will be published under the internet adress http://www.congress.ccc.de. The up-to-date overview of the scheduled events can be found under the same adress. The overview shanges constantly, because the visitors do not only consume the offered events, they actively participate and therefore also determine the course of events - as usual: you will only know what happened if you were really there.

But even those absent can participate. Already on the internet is a new report on the latest development of the net in Hungary (under cl.magazine.mik). This report demonstrates the development of a "data-middle-class" aside from the informational have-nothings of the third world and the info-elite. Looking over their own keyboard will link the participants of the Communication Congress with the rest of the universe.

.... and so forth.
